Career

While studying at the National Institute of Dramatic Art, Sarah Snook appeared in theatrical productions of ‘Gallipoli’ and ‘Macbeth.’ Her first television performance was in an episode of ‘All Saints’ in 2009. A year later, she played the lead role of Lorna Whyte in the TV film ‘Sisters of War. That year, she also did the short film ‘Crystal Jam’. In 2011, the actress starred in the Australian TV supernatural comedy-drama ‘Spirited’ and the film Sleeping Beauty. This was followed by a role in the romantic comedy flick ‘Not Suitable for Children. After her appearance in the movie ‘These Final Hours’ in 2013, Snook was cast in the role of Jane in ‘Predestination’, a sci-fi thriller that fetched her the AACTA Award for Best Actress along with the Film Critics Circle of Australia Award and the Australian Film Critics Association Award.
