Kellie Martin began her acting career in 1982, appearing in an episode of the TV series ‘Father Murphy’. This was followed by roles in two episodes each of ‘Life With Lucy’ and ‘My Two Dads,’ respectively. Then in 1988, the actress joined the cast of ‘A Pup Named Scooby-Doo’ as Daphne Blake, a role she played till 1991. During this time, she also starred in the film Troop Beverly Hills’ alongside Tori Spelling, Emily Schulman, Carla Gugino, and Ami Foster. She was then cast in the lead role in the series Life Goes On in 1989. Her performance as Rebecca Thacher garnered her appreciation and the show itself went on to become incredibly popular. From 1991 to 1995, Martin lent her voice to the character of Molly Tazmanian Devil in the animated sitcom ‘Taz-Mania’. Four years later, Martin joined a new Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Channel show titled ‘Hailey Dean Mystery,’ playing the protagonist, a prosecutor turned therapist, who solves crime mysteries. In 2017, she appeared as police officer Kimberly Leahy in the TBS comedy series ‘The Guest Book’.
